Rover: Prototype FINAL - Motor Adaptor
The wheels for the latest rover design will be meant for rough terrain environment. With the wheel hub, fabricating a motor adaptor to mount the wheels is easier compared to the previous adaptor.
Problem faced when fabricating the adaptor is that milling the aluminium rod into hexagon shape is too challenging as the angles of the hexagon may not be the same. Therefore, the shaft will be lathe down to the same length of the circumscribed hexagon.
With this design, the slots from the adaptor will be the key feature for the wheels to rotate together with the motor shaft.
