Rover: Prototype FINAL - Camera & Sensor Mount

The mounting plate for the sensors and the camera must be made of a plastic material instead of metal as it may affect the sensors’ circuit. Therefore, the material used will be polycarbonate since it is more rigid compared to acrylic. The position of the sensors have to be the same arrangement like the TeraRangers on the drone so that it will work the same. With the remaining space available, the camera can be mounted behind the sensors.

For the camera, the mount is fabricated for it to be slotted in. The holes for the screws must be position in a way such that the head of the screw will not interfere with the slotting of the camera.
